We designed and manufactured a custom solid-state fermenter for our customer, a manufacturer of fermentation products.

The pilot solid-state fermenter is made of stainless steel. It can be heated and cooled and has a double jacket for maintaining pressure. The body of the device itself rotates by means of unique gear and gear ring pairs mounted on the mixing shaft. The rotation speed of the mixing shaft is 23 rpm, and the drum rotation speed is 5.8 rpm. 

The heating of the duplicate is achieved through a specially designed rotating connector with a friction-reducing coating, in addition to the rotating device body. The mixing shaft is perforated and equipped with perforated scrapers. The material in the device can be dried with the help of hot air flowing through the pipe shaft.

Easy unloading was an important consideration, so the material is loaded and unloaded through the removable end cover with the help of the tiltable tank body.
